The eyezon widget can be set up to collect customer's personal data, i.e. full name, email and phone number prior to the customer sending a stream request.

<aside> 💡 By default, this feature is optional for the customer, and they can skip this step.

<aside> ⚠️ We highly recommend you collect personal data only if it is absolutely necessary for your business. Otherwise, we advise you to skip this function because not all customers are ready to share their personal data, especially if they don't see how it would benefit them.

<aside> 💡 At each stage involving the request of personal data from the сustomer, they need to confirm their consent to personal data processing in accordance with the applicable law.

Customers' personal data is available to our Enterprise clients via downloadable Excel files and API.

Enabling customers' personal data collection

Customers' personal data collection can be enabled in the Button settings in your business account. After enabling this function, the fields for entering personal data will appear in the widget. You can choose to collect one or more of the following: email, name, or phone number.

You can also choose a phone mask of a certain country that will be displayed in the widget for your customers.

If you want your streamers to get a customer’s personal data in chat as soon as they get a request for a stream, you can set this function in the same section of your business account.

Privacy policy

After you enable the Request data from customers function in your business account, the widget will ask your customers to give their consent to the processing of their personal data, and will show them a reference to the policy for collecting, processing and storing personal data.

<aside> 💡 In the Settings section of your business account, the eyezon Privacy Policy is added by default. You can change a link to your own Privacy Policy, but we recommend you to leave a link to our document, as eyezon is a personal data operator.

</aside>

See a link to the eyezon Privacy Policy.

A checkbox for a consent to personal data processing will appear only after a customer enters his data in a special field (fields) in the widget.
